About Miguel
He spent more than eight years in outpatient behavioral health at Lifeskills in Delray Beach, as a primary therapist and later leading its outpatient services, where much of his work was with clients who had relapsed after earlier treatment. Earlier, he worked in a trauma-specific community mental health unit serving children who had been abused and their families, and with active-duty service members at a psychiatric facility in North Carolina.
He is intensively trained in dialectical behavior therapy through The Linehan Institute and is a nationally trained EMDR therapist.
